Filter Replacement & Ongoing Water Filtration Maintenance

Regular filter replacement is essential to keep your whole house water filtration system performing at its best. For most whole-home filtration systems, we recommend changing filters every 6 to 12 months, depending on your household’s water usage and local water quality.

Perth’s water quality can vary throughout the year, with changing levels of chlorine, sediment, and other contaminants. Because of this, filter lifespan can differ from home to home. Around 11 months after installation, we’ll get in touch to remind you it’s time to replace your filters. Your reminder schedule is personalised based on your specific filtration system, local water quality, and household water usage, ensuring your system continues to perform at its best.

In some cases, filters may need replacing earlier. If you notice any change in the taste, smell, or clarity of your water from around 6 months onward, this can indicate that your filters are reaching the end of their lifespan and should be replaced sooner.
